DSpace.exe detects device arrival and removal (USB flash, CD, etc.), displaying free and total space in either base ten or base two units of your choice (kb, mg, gb, KB, MB, GB, etc.) with optional timed refresh of drive information configurable for single or multiple drives simultaneously via the Settings form. Its DiskID form has a Description field supplementing the VolumeLabel and DiskID fields, and maintains a history list which is stored in an INI file along with timer settings and form position and startup visibility. Drive indicator buttons for all drives show whether a drive is inactive (black), suspended (blue), queued for refresh (yellow), updated (green), or returning an error condition (red). A single left click on these inactivates or queues a drive, and a right click toggles a drive's timer 'tick' on and off. The DSpace icon in the system tray hides and shows all forms currently visible with a single click, or shows a context menu with check all and refresh all options available. Settings and DiskID forms can be repositioned to screen corners or edges with a single click, and minimized with or without leaving a taskbar icon behind. The global timer can be toggled on/off without affecting drive timer intervals so that the timed refresh can be paused and resumed for all drives at any time; and the indicator buttons show a colored border if the drive is 'ticking' or will be when the global timer is On.
